Our cat, Baby, was sleeping in my lap last Sunday afternoon. She decided to lick for a while and ended up with her tongue sticking out long enough for us to get the camera. The flash made her squint and look like she was drunk.
The driveway reflector came apart. This is what the outside looks like when viewed from about 2 inches.
Here is my friend the grasshopper before he spent some time on my finger, chewing on a little flesh.
This is the grasshopper seen in another photo after I let him climb on my finger. He was chewing on my finger. You can see some of the white chunks of skin he managed to loosen with his mandibles just in front of his head.

This is what a roasted marshmellow looks like when its been in the fire too long.
January 15, 2012 - a brisk, frosty morning. Some of the leaves in our back yard were just begging to be in a photo.
Our 16-year-old cat, Baby, snoozing on the patio. Of course, she roused enough to keep her eye on my when she heard me coming.
I just stepped into a 2-room cabin at The Hermitage in Nashville when I saw the little boy looking at me through the cutout in the wall. I quickly composed an image to capture the moment. I got an additional surprise as I pressed the button.
This is another photo I made of the Bank of America building after stepping back a few feet from the corner where I made the previous photo. It appears to me that there is a slight curve in the building close to the top.
I made this photo with my point-and-shoot out of the parking garage about 5:30 in the evening.
A couple of garden sprinkler cans waiting the return of the gardeners to the community garden at Christ Church Nashville.
A close-up view of the broken fire hydrant just down the street.
