I made this photo on a rainy Saturday morning in January. The rain abated just long enough for me to make this photo looking east from Old Hickory Dam as the fog began to thicken. It was about 5 minutes after sunrise.
A photo I made of the Nashville skyline about 6:02 on a cold, Saturday morning in February 2013. The new Music City Center is the really long building with the undulating roof. Just to its right is a new hotel still under construction.
Just after sunrise as the clouds are still shielding the sun from breaking through on the lake.
As the sun began to break through the clouds, I stopped just in the edge of the parking lot to make this photo.
Guarding the Dam
I saw this tree during the winter when the water had receded 20 feet from it. I am glad I could get a decent angle of view to include Percy Priest Dam behind it.
