As the clouds blew east, a contrail added its part to enhancing this photo of the moon.

I played with the white balance to get this long exposure to have the interesting colors.

Made this handheld photo laying on my back in the driveway in south Nashville, TN.

It was cloudy in Nolensville, TN when I was trying to get some photos of the super full moon. It was also my first time to make photos as the moon was just cresting the horizon. The cloud passing by kind of looks like a toupee on the moon.

I was adjusting the settings on my camera trying to capture the scene as the clouds drifted past the super full moon on May 5, 2012. The moon kind of looks like cheese that has gotten a little ripe.

June 2, 2012 - a couple of days before full moon I had a chance to make this photo. It was raining and cloudy on the night of the full moon in Nashville, TN, so I'm glad I went out earlier.

As the clouds split, I decided to make a photo and see what I got. I am naming this photo "Moon-a-borealis" in honor of the Northern Lights.

I went out to get the paper and noticed the clouds racing by a bright moon. This was about a 5 second exposure. Oh, it was 33 degrees, so I didn't dilly dally.
