This bush was filled with cicadas on Saturday May 14, 2011.

After the shower, a little drying time

Coming in for a closer look at my Nikon Coolpix

If you look closely, you'll see the cicada's antennae poking through the leaves

Is the cicada watching me or the approaching shower?

Gravity will eventually win over that drop of water

One of the few cicada's that spread their wings for the camera

This cicada seems to be working on drying one wing at a time

I don't think the leaf provided much cover

I think this cicada was striking a pose for the camera

I wonder if these cicadas see each other around that leaf

Colorful cicada, water drops and a little sunlight make for a nice photo

The color in the leaves are a nice touch for this fellow. How many other cicadas do you see?
