This is one of the dams in Middle Tennessee which is only about 10 miles from my house, so it was first on my list of dams to photograph. I have glanced at it many times as I headed east out of Nashville, TN on Interstate 40. I am really liking the images I am able to capture with my Nikon D5100 using the 18-55 kit lens. I hope you do, too. I made these photos before and right after sunrise.
