The Praying Squirrel
"Thank you, Lord, for this meal. And thank you, Lord, for that nice man who puts the food out for me and the birds. Please tell him I like black sunflower seeds the best. Amen." The praying squirrel.
This little squirrel, a girl I think, is the only one so far that will let me get within 6 feet or so before running off. I happened to be sitting in the back of my truck and looking down toward the water bowl for this photo.
This little girl was busy with her nut when I happened to catch her nibbling away. She must be getting used to me snapping her photo.
"You looking at me?"
A young squirrel was hopping toward the bird feeders when he noticed me and decided to take a better look before continuing.
Whatcha doing?
Almost too close to make a photo with my zoom lens - about 5 feet away.
Whoopee!
2 squirrels cavorting between some trees in our back yard about 20 yards away.
Caught this fellow in mid-stride. It kind of looks like he is imitating a pointer.

The Spy
This little fellow caught me napping on a balmy Sunday afternoon. I roused to make his photo before he decided I was harmless and started toward the bird feeders.
The Pointer
This squirrel seems to be ready to point at the food I put out for the birds.
I Can Do This

This little fellow seems to be telling to come no closer.
